The tender period for Dunton Green Parish Council’s new Grounds Maintenance contracts is now open.The deadline for the submission of quotations is 5pm on Friday 23rd February 2024.

There are two contracts - one for maintenance of the recreation ground (Tender A) and the other for the maintenance of all other Dunton Green Parish Council open spaces (Tender B). The Parish Council will accept quotations for Tender A, Tender B or for both contracts. There is no advantage or disadvantage in submitting for a single contract or both. Each submission will be assessed on its merits.

Parties interested in submitting a quotation for either of these contracts should contact Tracy Godden, Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer to the Parish Council, via email (clerk@duntongreenpc.org.uk) for detailed specifications of the works.

The new contract will commence on 1st April 2024.

The Parish Council will make its decision regarding the award of the contract after the close of the tender period and contractors will be notified by no later than Wednesday13th March 2024.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
