Book of Condolences at St Mary the Virgin Riverhead with Dunton Green

Following the sad announcement of the death of HRH Elizabeth II, St Mary the Virgin will be open for prayer and with a book of condolences from tomorrow (Friday 9th September).
This will be at the following times:
Friday 9th September 9:30am - 1:30pm, 5-7pm.
Saturday 10th September 10am - 4pm
Sunday 11th September 8am - 12 noon (St Mary’s services will be taking place as usual and will include prayers during this time of mourning).
The intention is for the church to be open for at least an hour once each day until the funeral.
As soon as the exact times for next week have been arranged, we will advise. It is also hoped that St. Mary’s will hold a commemorative service on the evening before the funeral at 6:30pm. Once the arrangements have been made, we will confirm the details.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
